After the season in the Netherlands, Erik Ten Hag is preparing to travel from Amsterdam to Manchester and take charge of United. In an interview with the Ajax channel, the Dutch coach was confronted with a photo in which he was talking to the Portuguese international, then at Juventus, and he was once again full of praise.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is a magnificent player, a true winner. I can’t wait to work with him,” he admitted.
It is recalled that Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Manchester United this season after a 12-year hiatus in which he represented Real Madrid (2009 to 2018) and Juventus (2018 to 2021). Back at Old Trafford he scored 24 goals in 38 games.
