Adel Taarabt was sent off after seven minutes. The Moroccan international had an out-of-time tackle on Andrés Sarmiento and initially saw the yellow card, but, after being called up by VAR, Manuel Oliveira changed the decision and admonished with the red card.
For now, Taarabt’s absence against Estoril is certain, on matchday 27, scheduled for March 20. The 32-year-old midfielder, remember, has 33 games and a goal this season.
