July 6, 2009 marks the beginning of Cristiano Ronaldo’s era at Real Madrid. Through social networks, the merengue emblem marked the 12th anniversary of the day the Portuguese international was officially presented as a white player, in front of an audience of 80,000 fans at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Signed for €94 million from Manchester United (a record at the time), Ronaldo lived a true golden era in the nine years he spent in Madrid. In total, he scored 450 goals in 438 games, having won four Champions Leagues, three club world championships, two championships, two King’s Cups and two Super Cups.
In 2018 Cristiano Ronaldo ended up moving to Juventus, where he spent the last three seasons.
