During the celebrations for the conquest of another title of champion (the fifth at the service of FC Porto), Pepe recalled the difficult period that he went through throughout the season.
“This year was difficult, so many things happened. This title knows a lot. I was accused of so many things, a lot of people didn’t want me to play», shot the defender, not failing to express all his satisfaction:
«At 39 years old and being a champion, at this level… I want to thank all the people who help me. My family has a lot of patience for letting me play.”
