“To correct our salaries according to the dollar, similar to the rest of the sectors,” the title of the teachers’ sit-in, today, Wednesday, in front of the Ministry of Education, which coincided with the demands of the station owners to issue a price table in dollars.

Towards comprehensive dollarization and the obituary of the Lebanese pound, the mouthpiece of most of the economic markets in Lebanon, which places full responsibility on the state and the economic policies that have proven their failure and brought the Lebanese people to this unprecedented gendarmerie.

Economic expert, Layal Mansour, confirms on the “Lebanese Forces” website, that “what the people are asking for is comprehensive dollarization, following their calls for correcting their wages according to the dollar, but they are not aware of this matter.”

Mansour explains that “comprehensive dollarization lies in converting the state’s pensions and revenues into dollars.” And she says, “Every economist in the world, with its influence, is absolutely against comprehensive dollarization, but when the country has been dollarized for more than 40 years, and no matter what happens in the economy, there is no solution except through comprehensive dollarization, so its recognition becomes obligatory.”

“We are facing a fait accompli and a highly dollarized country, and there is a crisis of the exchange rate, and no proposal can be presented other than comprehensive dollarization, because it remains wishes and dreams and its implementation is impossible,” according to Mansour, who asserts that “reality imposes itself far from opinions, and the Lebanese economy tends to increase dollarization, The greater the partial dollarization, the greater the catastrophe, and the solution to dollarization is through comprehensive dollarization, and nothing else.
