Benfica and OC Barcelos won their respective expired fixtures of the Placard Roller Hockey Championship this Tuesday, finding themselves tied at the top of the table.
Coached by former Sporting player Paulo Freitas, OC Barcelos received and beat Parede FC, 3-0, in a final match of the fifth round, goals by Alvarinho (4′), Luís Querido (32′ gp) and José Pedro (46′) ‘ ‘).
Benfica follows, victorious in Braga, 3-1, but deferred for the third round. Nil Roca (8′) gave the reds the lead, but HC Braga equalized through Tomas Korosec (16m), before Gonçalo Pinto (20m) and Daniel ‘Poka’ Oliveira (24m) fixed the scoreline.
Now with the updated fixture list, Óquei Barcelos and Benfica, both with 15 points, are ahead, with one lead for the at the ends on goal difference. FC Porto and Sporting follow, both with 12 points.
