Benfica’s SAD is not willing to let Darwin Núñez out in January. The guarantee was given to A BOLA by an official source of the embodied, which reinforced the idea that, with the embodied in the fight for four competitions – League, Champions League, Portuguese Cup and League Cup -, the Board led by Rui Costa does not intend to access the transfer of any of the players considered essential, as is the case of the Uruguayan striker.
That intention, moreover, was reinforced after the meeting with Dynamo Kiev, which cleared the eagles for the round of 16 of the Champions: first because Benfica want to give Jorge Jesus all the conditions to go as far as possible in the millionaire competition, secondly, because the millions guaranteed in the competition’s group stage give some financial leeway to SAD, which does not have, therefore, to make a large cash inflow to balance the accounts.
