David Neres, Benfica winger, was, this Monday, spokesperson for the group that is undergoing training in England, highlighting that he feels good and that the team is gaining the necessary chemistry.
«I’m feeling good, working hard, assimilating the mister’s ideas every day, we’re focused», he began by telling journalists.
Asked if he is the star of the team after the departure of Darwin Núñez to Liverpool, the Brazilian discarded the label: «[risos] Of course not, we have a lot of quality players, we don’t have stars, but a strong group.”
Being one of the most technically evolved players on the squad, Neres leaves a promise to make a difference on the wings: «We have many quality players, what I can promise is determination and dedication.»
As for the expectations for the 3rd round of access to the Champions League, the 25-year-old Brazilian gave a speech of optimism: «I am sure that we will be ready, our objective is to win, we will work day by day day by day, listen to what the mister has to say and what his ideas are.
