Julian Nagelsmann acknowledged that Bayern’s players signed a sensational display in the rout applied, this Tuesday, to Salzburg (7-1), in the second leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League.
“It was an exceptional night. It was good that we booked very early. This was a game we had to win and we did that by playing excellent football. We had a lot of possession and our defense was effective. Our offensive scheme is not very different from previous years, we try to put players in the best positions to score. What is Bayern’s goal? The normal, always win”, said the coach, in statements to Sky.
Bayern had drawn in the first leg (1-1).
