Rafael Nadal continues to live, on his way to 36 years, one of the best moments of his career.
The Spaniard remains unbeaten in 2022 (14-0) and, in the early hours of Saturday, he qualified for the final of the ATP 500 in Acapulco, Mexico, for the fifth time in his career, and will try to reach his fourth title in the tournament, that it intends to add to those of 2005, 2013 and 2020.
In a long-awaited semi-final, Nadal got the better of Russian Daniil Medvedev, still number two in the world, but leader of the ATP hierarchy as of Monday, 6-3, 6-4.
Rafael Nadal will face Britain’s Cameron Norrie in the final.
