The central defender Morato will play, this afternoon, in the starting lineup of Benfica B in the game against Farense, in Liga 2.
The Brazilian, who has not played in the main team since January 29, in the League Cup final against Sporting (replacing Nicolás Otamendi, then in the service of the Argentine national team), will gain minutes of play for the team guided by António Oliveira. For the game against Vitória de Guimarães, on the next round, the Argentine will not be available and Morato may be the one called to team up with Jan Vertonghen.
This will be Morato’s first game in 2021/2022 for the B team: the former São Paulo defender has not played for B since last May.
