No time to waste in the castle. Hours after taking office as the 24th president of Vitória de Guimarães, António Miguel Cardoso was present at the sports complex of the Minho emblem, to attend training and address the working group.
I had already had lunch with coach Pepa, even before the act of becoming official as the new leader of the Victorians, but after the formalities, it was time to get even closer to the team and the players. During the electoral campaign, Miguel Cardoso even said that he felt the squad was “abandoned”, so, having been elected president, he tried to convey “confidence”, which was another of the words heard.
In a video published on Vitória’s social networks, it is possible to see Miguel Cardoso watching the work on the lawn, accompanied by deputy Nuno Leite and also with Jaime Teixeira, executive director. The images also show the president entering the locker room and talking to the players.
