The French international was one step away from leaving for Real Madrid, but the club eventually managed to hold him back and the two are now teammates. There has already been talk of malaise and Real Madrid is still a possibility – renewal is being negotiated -, but Messi puts aside a bad atmosphere, while admitting his departure.
