Lionel Messi will have disrespected the Paris Saint-Germain coach, after the Argentine striker did not inform Mauricio Pochettino that he was positive for Covid-19.
According to the French press, Pochettino learned from third parties that Messi had tested positive for Covid-19 during the Christmas holidays in Argentina.
While no one can confirm how the Argentine striker contracted the virus, the Argentine international was spotted at a concert with his wife in Santa Fe.
Jerome Rothen, former PSG star, was harshly critical of Messi, speaking to Montecarlo radio: “You must always respect the coach. He is someone who is above everyone else. It doesn’t matter if you’re a star or a young player. Pochettino didn’t know about Messi and that explains a lot. This situation is not good and I think it is very shocking on Messi’s part.”
