Italian coach Roberto Mancini assumed that Wednesday’s match against Argentina will be the end of a cycle for many players in the blue Team.
“Tomorrow’s game marks the end of a cycle. It doesn’t mean that 15 or 20 players will leave the national team, but on Wednesday we will include youngsters and start thinking about the future”, began by saying the coach, in a press conference.
Mancini will be ready to bet on young talents even if they don’t start at their clubs: “We’re going to work thinking about the future, about improving. Whether or not clubs bet on their youngsters is none of my business.”
The final will put the European champion (Italy) and the winner of the Copa America (Argentina) face to face, in a match that will take place at Wembley.
