THE BALL – Liverpool wins but Darwin only plays 33 minutes (Singapore)

Liverpool’s second game at the Singapore stage. After the 0-4 defeat to Manchester United, the reds beat Crystal Palace 2-0.

Captain Henderson opened the scoring in the 12th minute and Salah set the final score to open the second half. Highlight for Darwin Núñez: the former Benfica striker was launched on the pitch shortly after the break, as was the young Portuguese international Fábio Carvalho, but he would be substituted in the 78′ (he was on the pitch for 33 minutes, having an opportunity to score, but the opposing goalkeeper denied him the intention).

Jurgen Klopp’s team now returns to the European continent, with the next preparation game scheduled for the 21st, against RB Leipzig, in Germany.
