Moments before the kick-off of the game at Camp Nou, which Atlético Madrid lost 2-4 to Barcelona, Atlético Madrid president Enrique Cerezo showed he had complete confidence in João Félix’s ability and quality.
“João Félix is an indisputable player for us, let no one doubt him, he is a star wherever he is. He’s still young and he has to show what he’s worth. I’m sure that will happen”, assured the leader in statements to the Movistar.
João Félix was signed by the Spaniards from Benfica in July 2019, for 126 million euros.
