THE BALL – LeBron James breaks Kobe Bryant record but Lakers lose (NBA)

LeBron James broke another record but failed to prevent the Los Angeles Lakers from losing to the Brooklyn Nets (lead the Eastern Conference) 122-115 in one of four NBA games played on December 25th.

The star, almost turning 37 (on December 30), became the best scorer ever on Christmas Day, having accumulated 422 points in 16 games. He passed Kobe Bryant who had 395 points in the same 16 games.

Against the Brooklyn Nets, LeBron had 39 points, with James Harden responding with 36 on the other side.
