Stefano Pioli, coach of Milan, gave an interview to Sky Football Club and, among the various topics addressed, the talent of Rafael Leão, currently in the service of the selection at the World Cup in Qatar and was considered the best player in Serie A last season, in which Milan were crowned champions. The technician of Rossoneri left a clear message to the Portuguese international.
«Rafael is happy because Portugal is having a good World Cup, but in the Portuguese offensive sector there is a lot of quality and competitiveness. Rafael has technique and speed that few players have but he had to adapt to the reality of Milan, pace of Lille, where he comes from, but here the pressure is different. Anyone who sees him train realizes that he has incredible potential, but he still has to make the leap to become a champion, because he can be even more decisive in the opposing box. Entering there in a more incisive and determined way, but he is a player who can do everything.
– He is very intelligent and I am sure he will achieve great things in his career. In the open field he is unstoppable, he needs freedom of movement on the field but I want him closer to the finish area, I always tell him », underlined Stefano Pioli.
Serving Portugal at the World Cup, Rafael Leão scores (against Ghana) in 58 minutes of use, in three matches, by Fernando Santos.
