John Textor denied, this Saturday, an alleged investment in FC Porto’s SAD. The American businessman is said to have offered €50 million for 25 percent of the shares of the Dragons Sports Anonymous Society, in which he had already shown an interest.
“It’s pure speculation. It is no secret that I love Portuguese football, but I have not made any financial offer for FC Porto and I have not hired any intermediary to act on my behalf.
Remember that John Textor already has stakes in Botafogo (Brazil) and Crystal Palace (England). Last year he showed interest in acquiring shares in SAD do Benfica, but the deal did not materialize.
