Paul Parker, former Manchester United defender, did not spare criticism of Bruno Fernandes, in the podcast ‘Talk of the devils’, pointing the finger at Portuguese for the way he expresses himself in the field.
«Bruno Fernandes worries me. From the way he behaves, I’m sure there are players on the team who don’t like him or what he does on the pitch. He draws a lot of attention to everything. If he is fouled, he tells everyone to get up, if he is fouled, he rolls around and seems to want to tell everyone that he has a cut in his sock or something”, he said.
Parker also gave the example of Bruno Fernandes’ episode with Ollie Watkins, who reached out to help him up from the pitch: “Watkins tried to help him, he’s a good guy, there’s no malice in him. She felt she hadn’t done anything wrong and wanted to help him up. He was not rude, but Bruno Fernandes pulled his arms towards his face and disrespected him.”
And also addressed the rumors that the Portuguese will have rejected a proposal to renew the red devils: «Where are you going? Where were you before coming to United? Where was all this that surrounds you?”
