Dusan Tadic, a 33-year-old striker for Ajax, revealed some caution when approaching the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, this Wednesday, at Estádio da Luz.
«I saw a little bit of Benfica’s game», he said, referring to the eagles’ match on Friday, at Bessa, in which the Reds drew 2-2. “He is a good opponent, we cannot forget that all teams that reach the round of 16 are difficult. But we believe in our qualities and we have to go to the next stage”, Tadic told ESPN, after the match with Willem II, which the Dutch won 1-0.
Tadic has played 30 games this season, with nine goals scored and 18 assists.
