THE BALL – «I have a lot to learn from Suárez and Cavani» (Benfica)

Already integrated in the Uruguay national team, forward Darwin, from Benfica, told the press in his country that two of his main models are precisely in the national team: Luís Suárez and Edinson Cavani.

“I have a lot to learn, I have to look at them, at what they do on and off the field. They are an example for the younger ones”, he praised.

Uruguay faces Paraguay (27th) and Venezuela (1st February), in qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup, which is why Darwin misses the Final Four of the League Cup (like Coates, also called up).
