THE BALL – Graça Freitas gives a message to the Super Dragons: «We are not going to lose everything» (Country)

The Assistant Secretary of State for Health and Health, Jamila Madeira, accompanied the Director-General of Health, Graça Freitas, at the daily press conference to take stock of the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic in the country, and the news that the Super Dragons intend to support FC Porto Claque at the door of Famalicão stadium, next Wednesday, at 21.15 hours, ended up dominating the session.

«The question of capacity within stadiums has to do with other phenomena, namely the celebration of goals, entries and exits … Anyway, it is a complex situation. There should be no supporters present in the vicinity of the stadiums, nor crowds in cafes or where the matches are being broadcast. This is an appeal! The virus is circulating, it has not disappeared. We cannot give you the means to move from one person to another. The rules must be respected! It appeals to the conscience of each one. It was an important step to restart the championship, it was a huge effort, now we all have to ensure that the season ends safely and that nobody gets infected because of football. Social responsibility must prevail, we are not going to lose everything, what we achieved was with so much effort! I appeal to supporters to abide by the rules. We have been able to be flexible and in football we will be flexible. We are going to monitor things very well and at each moment the risk assessment will be made and the measures will adapt according to those risks and those we project that may happen ”, stressed Graça Freitas in a brighter tone.

Jamila Madeira, on the other hand, reinforced the idea that we are still not safe: «We have to be vigilant. This virus has no cure yet, it lives undercover. There are no heroes for this disease, each of us must be prudent. This is a joint mission between all age groups, only together will we be able to overcome these setbacks. »
