The agreement between Benfica and Stuttgart is closed and Gil Dias will reinforce the German team, where striker Tiago Tomás works, and the winger leaves Luz after two and a half seasons, having been hired in the summer of 2021.
During this period, Gil Dias, 26 years old, was little used and left with 20 games, in which he scored a goal (against Sporting, in Alvalade) and provided two assists.
This is the seventh departure of Roger Schmidt’s squad in this winter market, after Diogo Gonçalves, Rodrigo Pinho, Helton Leite, John Brooks, João Victor and Henrique Araújo. Note also for the transfer of Tomás Tavares to Spartak Moscow.
