Torino hosted and beat Palermo (3-0), in the first round of the Coppa Italia. After a discreet spell at Benfica, Nemanja Radonjic started in the home team (which also had Valentino Lázaro coming off the bench) and stood out.
The 26-year-old Serbian assisted Lukic (54′), had a goal disallowed in the 59′ and scored in the 73′. Pietro Pellegri (79′) closed the scoring.
With this triumph, Torino advances to the second round, where they will face Cittadella. Brescia (beat Pisa), Spezia (beat Como) and SPAL (beat Empoli) also accompany the Turin team.
