Sporting’s victory in Tondela (3-1), on the 29th round of the League, was very dear to the leonine leaders. The Disciplinary Board of the Portuguese Football Federation announced a set of fines imposed on the green and white club valued at 25,880 euros.
A value that was divided as follows: 1020 euros for chants counts the referee, Benfica and Tiago Dantas; 20,400 euros for throwing four torches, one of which forced the game to be stopped for 60 seconds, at 34′; and €4,460 for setting off pyrotechnic devices.
As for Tondela, he was fined 408 for throwing a bottle onto the pitch.
