This Sunday, Ángel Di María’s home was assaulted with his family in the countryside while the Argentine international played for Paris Saint-Germain in the game against Nantes, for Ligue 1. The player was replaced by Mauricio Pochettino in the 62nd minute and left of the stadium in tears at the seriousness of the situation.
According to The Parisian, the French police were immediately called to the scene to intervene and, the same source guarantees, the player’s family, 33 years old, did not suffer any type of aggression and left the incident unscathed. The robbers ended up taking a safe with items of great value.
This was not the first time that Di María has experienced such situations. In February 2015, when he was playing for Manchester United, the Argentine also saw his residence in the English city being robbed, a situation that led him to go live with his family to a hotel and, he himself admitted, made him want to leave England, something that would happen months later.
