David Luiz will leave Arsenal at the end of this season. The confirmation was made, this Tuesday, by Mikel Arteta, coach of the gunners, at a press conference.
«David Luiz won everything in football. I had the privilege of working with him for 18 months and I really enjoyed it. We had a great time together, he helped me a lot and he is someone we all really appreciate. I just want to say thank you for everything and wish you the best of luck in the next chapter of your career. Knowing David, I am sure that he still has many years as a player and that, in the future, he will be somehow connected to football », said the Spanish coach.
“We had a few conversations and discussed the situation several times until we made the final decision,” said Arteta.
The 34-year-old Brazilian midfielder is at the end of his contract with Arsenal, the club he joined in 2019 from Chelsea.
