THE BALL – Corinthians by Vítor Pereira lost to the afflicted Ceará (Brazil)

Corinthians, team coached by the Portuguese Vítor Pereira — was not on the bench due to punishment — lost, by 1-3, last morning, in the visit to Ceará (3-1), in a game of the 17th round of the Brazilian.

O helm even started well and scored early, through Róger Guedes (4′) with a goal, but in the 28th minute Ceará responded, after a relief from the Corinthians defense, Bruno Pacheco filled his foot to restore equality on the scoreboard.

A goal that galvanized the home team, with Vina (32′), at the edge of the area, signing the second.

In the complementary stage, with Vítor Pereira moving the team, Corinthians felt some difficulties in the last third, highlighting the opportunity of Roni (65′), who hit the crossbar, and ended up suffering the third, with Cléber (76′) to overturn the aspirations of the helm to score.

With this defeat, Corinthians maintains 29 points (2nd place), and can see the leader Palmeiras (30 points) distance. Ceará managed to leave the relegation zone, climbing from 17th to 13th position.
