Giorgio Chiellini, 37 years old, the last 17 at the service of Juventus, confirmed this Wednesday, after the Coppa Italia final (defeat against Inter by 2-4, after extra time), that he will leave the Turin emblem at the end of the time.
“I leave by my decision, although it will not be easy, because I will always belong to this team”, said the experienced centre-back, who has represented Juventus since 2005.
Chiellini will still have two games to go, but with one certainty: he won’t win any title in this farewell. “I’m not used to not winning titles, of course something is wrong. We have a way to go and we are still far from the top”, he warned.
