The Australian tour of India starts today. There are three T20s in the series. The first game of the series will be played in Mohali.
A win in this series will allow India to dominate the Australians ahead of the T20 World Cup. The confidence he will give India in the World Cup will not be small.

As India’s bench strength is immense, fans are eager to try India in any combination. Meanwhile, former Indian superstar and national cricket legend Wasim Jaffer announced he had played XI for the first T20I against Australians.

Jaffer has announced that he wants to play eleven, excluding the wicket-keeper’s young player and batsman Rishabh Pant. Aside from the ball, veteran superstar R. Ashwin also has no place in Jaffer’s playing eleven.
Dinesh Karthik replaced Pant and Axar Patel replaced Ashwin. Deepak Hoodak also failed to find a place in Jaffer’s XI.
Rahul, Rohit, Virat and Suryakumar will be in the highest order while Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik and Axar Patel will be in the middle order. In the lower order, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Jasprit Bumrah and Chahal also found a place in Jaffer’s XI.

After the tour of Australia in India, South Africa is also on tour in India. The Proteas tour in India will consist of three T20Is and three ODI.

The first game in the T20 format is on September 28th. Thiruvananthapuram Kariyavattam Stadium is the home of the first T20I. The other two games of the T20 series will be played in Guwahati and Indore on 2 and 4 October.
