In the fourth game at the helm of Cuiabá, the Portuguese coach António Oliveira, 39 years old, former helmsman of Benfica B, continues without winning.
This Sunday, Cuiabá lost, by 1-0 (goal by Pedro Raul, at 80′), in the trip to Goiás, in a match of the 14th round of the Brazilian Serie A.
Before, António Oliveira had registered a draw (1-1) with Red Bull Bragantino, at home, a defeat in the visit to Flamengo’s ground (2-0) and, in the previous round, a goalless draw, in his stronghold, against Ceara.
Cuiabá remains in the relegation zone, in 18th and third from last place, with 13 points.
It should be remembered that António Oliveira was not present on the bench in the first two games due to unresolved bureaucratic issues with the Brazilian Football Confederation: in those matches, with the assistants on the field, Cuiabá lost 2-1 to América Mineiro ( away) and beat Corinthians, by Vítor Pereira, by 1-0, at home.
