Giuseppe Rossi, 35, is without a club after ending his contract with Spal, a club where he scored 3 goals in 14 games last season in the latest edition of Serie A. The forward reviewed his career, highlighting the end of the season 2010/2011, when he represented Villarreal.
“That year I played consistently and scored 32 goals between the League and the Europa League. In Spain, after Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, there was me. Everyone wanted me”, he said, in an interview with AM Italia.
Rossi, however, ended up with a serious injury to his right knee in November 2011, eventually moving to Fiorentina, a club where he also suffered two serious injuries. He still played for Levante, Celta de Vigo, Genoa and Real Salt Lake (United States), but without ever reaching regularity.
