The celebration will begin with an evening bike ride through choir conductor Jānis Dūminas’ favorite places in Baldone, an orienteering game will be held in the vicinity of the Mercendarbe estate, and at the climax of the celebration, sports games, a market and a festive concert will be organized.
The evening bike ride “Mazs bij’ teva novadinis” will take place today and it is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. The gathering for the bike ride is planned at the Baldones sports complex from 5:30 p.m.
On Thursday at 18:00, there will also be an orientation game in Mercendarbe manor “Dūmiņa nošu pasaale”. It will be an event for families with children.
On Saturday, July 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., sports games are scheduled at the Baldones sports complex. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., a market will be held around the Center Square.
From 12:00 to 17:00, musical and theatrical performances and entertainment for children are also planned in the Center Square. At 2:30 p.m., the concert of the ensemble “Dzītari” and friends will take place in the Baldones cultural center “Saspele”.
At the end of the day at 11 p.m., there will be a green ball in Vanagkaln, Ligo meadow, together with the band “Kraujas Band”.
