“With such contestants from “The Bachelor”, men will completely refuse to get involved!”, “I’ll wait for three more candidates and I’ll go and get the boy out, there’s no way he’ll make it to the end”, “It’s funny to us, but this dude 100 % wants to remain a bachelor after seeing them”.
These and hundreds of other comments flooded social networks after the first aired episode of the reality show. As Ivo Siromakhov writes on Facebook, “Only “The Bachelor” can unite the nation”, for the second season in a row there is great excitement around the participants.
In search of a serious relationship, pianist Evgeni Genchev takes part, and 25 women compete for his love. In the first episode, the candidates were shown, but most of them were likened by the viewers as paid companions. Most likely because many of the girls have plastic surgery. That is why some viewers suggest that the show should now be called “The Gamen”.
“To me, ‘The Bachelor’ is a total joke and a mockery of an entire gender. The participants in the show are a representative sample and a large percentage of the younger generation, and this is quite sad and worrying”, reads one of the comments on Facebook.
“It is a very big mistake that they chose a pianist for “The Bachelor”. I even wonder how Evgeni was plucked from the piano to participate. Because the pianist’s daily life is: “I tell the woman that I’m at the mistress’s house, I tell the mistress that I’m at the woman’s house, and I’m in the attic playing 8 hours a day. Minimum!”. They just had to pick a violist. Our life maxim is: “Better two hours of embarrassment on stage than two months of completely meaningless rehearsals!”. This was commented by the violist Todor Mitrov from the “Sofia Soloists” ensemble.
