The Aveyronnais Blood Research Group (GARS) is organizing a training course for hunters on June 5. Indeed, each hunter is responsible for his actions and must do everything to find an injured animal. However, very often it is better to leave this matter to the specialists. To this end, it should be noted that the handlers of blood dogs intervene everywhere in the department, free of charge and on request. Also, the members of GARS want to expand their ranks and attract new followers for this hunt which begins where that of others ends. To do this, GARS is organizing training to promote awareness of the discipline. This training does not allow you to become handlers of blood dogs, but it is essential to better understand the management of the after-shooting and optimize the search for injured big game. As explained by Jean-Pierre Authier, President of the Departmental Federation of Hunters: “the search for injured big game is a discipline that requires a lot of effort and very good knowledge of the morphology of the game and its behavior in the event of injury. . The President of GARS, Roland Delcayre has created a friendly association and federated around him a team of dynamic, passionate and united hunters. They are the guarantors of the ethics of hunting ”.
