In the second quarter of the year the average gross monthly salary V Agriculture, forestry and fisheries is 1644 BGN. It is BGN 101 higher than the salary in the first quarter of this year (BGN 1,543) and BGN 238 more compared to the period April-June 2023 (BGN 1,406), according to the latest data of the National Statistical Institute (NSI).
The average gross monthly salary in the country in the second quarter of 2024 is BGN 2,296. Compared to the same period of 2023, when it was 1957, it was increased by 339 BGN, and compared to the first quarter of this year, it was up by 98 BGN.
Traditionally, the best paid is the IT sector, where in the second quarter the average salary is BGN 5,164. Only in this sector and in the Financial and insurance sector (3,332 BGN for April-June 2024) is there a decrease in the average labor remuneration compared to the first quarter of the year.
At the bottom of the salary table are the Hospitality and Restaurant Industry, where the average salary for the last quarter was BGN 1,491.
