The traditional autumn day of caring for the city greenery returns to Forlimpopoli, with many volunteers who will take care of the plants in public parks and gardens, giving a concrete example of caring for the common good. The initiative is promoted by the Municipality together with the “Mushrooms and Flora” association and the Alpini Group, with the patronage of the Environment Council.
The meeting is at 8am on Saturday 30 November at the car park of the “Luciano Lama” urban park: from here, around 8.20am, the teams will leave under the expert guidance of the shepherd of the trees. The volunteers will be involved, in particular, in the maintenance of the woods of the new born, with small pruning interventions, arrangement of the support poles. At the end of the work a convivial lunch is planned for all the volunteers, prepared by the Alpini Group in their headquarters in via Giardino 23.
All citizens are invited to participate and thus take care of the common good. The next Public Green Care Day is scheduled between the end of February and the beginning of March 2025.
