The Autosalon cameraman scratched one of the most expensive cars in the world. Today it costs 123 million crowns

Are you tall enough, can you fit inside smoothly?
At first I couldn’t fit in because the car is Italian and Italians are known for being very small and slender. At Ferrari they had to make me a custom seat and adjust the pedals. Otherwise, there isn’t much inside, because the designers tried to reduce the weight as much as possible. Leather replaces carbon and radio, for example, is not there at all. Air conditioning already.

Have you carried out maintenance work on the Maserati MC12?
We made a clutch that used to cost around 260,000 crowns. But the worst was when the electric mechanism that lifts the front axle went wrong. This is a small plate about the size of a cigarette case. Ferrari wanted 380,000 crowns without taxes, so I decided to do the license plate myself. In the end I got four in stock and it cost me all 18,000 crowns.

How often do you drive it?
Now I only drive with him because I am afraid of the people around me. It has already happened to me a few times that passers-by scratched my cars in a completely senseless way. Oh, and while we’re at it, I even have a memory of one of your cameramen on the Maserati MC12. In 2006, when we first took this car to the Autosalon, the camera fell out of the side window and left small scratches on the carbon door panel. But from the beginning I drove it a lot, for example on the tracks.

Can car enthusiasts see your Maserati MC12 anywhere?
I often take it to various exhibitions, so definitely yes. And, of course, soon to the Autosalon, where the expert Pepa and I drove it thoroughly.
