The man who broke the statue of Notre-Dame-des-Marais on Sunday February 28 in the Saint-Sulpice church in Fougères (Ille-et-Vilaine) will be tried in early August. This resident of Fougères, aged about fifty, was arrested by the police on Tuesday afternoon. After spending 48 hours in police custody he was presented to the Rennes prosecutor’s office on Thursday morning.
