In Britain, in the town of Worksop, chimney sweeps found a letter to Santa Claus in the chimney, which was written 60 years ago. To find the author of the letter, they wrote about their find on social networks. On Thursday, July 29, reports BBC.
It is reported that with the help of social networks it was possible to find the author of the message to Santa. Now 65 years old, his name is Robert William Crampton, he is a retired and lives in Surrey.
The man told reporters that he wrote a letter with his father in 1961, when he was five years old. Then he hoped to get a cowboy suit, guns and a hat. Santa brought him a pistol that looked like a cowboy six-shot pistol, a holster and a sheriff’s badge.
The man plans to leave a letter to his daughters as a keepsake. It is now in the possession of the current owners of the house, who said that their family had lived in it for decades and did not know the previous tenants.
Sherrill Thorne, officer manager of Sweeps Chimney Services, said that when she started her business, she always wanted to find a Christmas letter in the chimney.
