The head of the Mundfish studio, Robert Bagratuni, spoke about the statement by the representatives of the Mirage group about the reasons for blocking the Atomic Heart trailer with the song “Music Bond Us”. In a comment for App2Top, he noted that his company legally acquired the rights to use the composition.
According to Bagratuni, Mundfish immediately contacted the National Music Publishing House and, before concluding an agreement on the purchase of rights to use the song “Music Tied Us,” requested documents confirming the agency’s license. The studio’s lawyers have confirmed that the deal with NMI will allow the revised version of the composition to be included in the trailer.
This point was later disputed by representatives of the Top7 company, cooperating with the founder of the Mirage group, Andrey Lityagin. They stated that it was them who were initially approached by Mundfish and later violated the agreement by concluding a contract with NMI. Bagratuni denied this statement – according to his version of the studio, only a certain Cherkasov wrote, who did not provide any documents confirming his connection with Lityagin.

Bagratuni added that thanks to the publication of the trailer for Atomic Heart with the song “Music Bond Us”, it significantly influenced the popularity of the composition and the group “Mirage” on popular media platforms. According to the head of Mundfish, the studio arranged an “unexpected promo” for the band, while Lityagin and his representatives only “want to cut additional royalties” from the action developers.
Said Atomic Heart Trailer released June 13 and ten days later was blocked, but only on the official Mundfish channel – it is still available on the pages of other major gaming media. After that, the authors of the action statedthat the complaint and the removal of the video from the platform are unlawful and have filed an appeal. In response, the agency “Top7” and Andrey Lityagin notedthat they did not transfer the rights to publish the modified version of the song “Music bound us”, which was the reason for the conflict.
