Russia has a new luxury car and it is called Aurus Komendant. It’s a full-size SUV that costs as much as a Rolls-Royce.
The current situation does not seem to be the most favorable for the launch of an ultra-luxury SUV, but here it is Russia bring this fix. Called Aurus Komandant, this is a vehicle created to ensure “flawless comfort on every journey”. If we take a look at what it offers, the Komendant is in the same league as the Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
We will see what similarities with the British SUV. The manufacturer claims that this SUV is “monumental”. The exterior design has something of both the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and the Bentley Bentayga. The front is dominated by an imposing grille with 22 vertical bars, which is reminiscent once again Rolls Royce. The headlights are in the same theme and the massive grille is flanked by large air intakes.
The profile of the car is imposing, a large piece of metal and glass, as if looking at an estate. The rims are a generous 22 inches.
The rear is reminiscent of the Bentayga, especially with the look of the taillights and their light signature. In addition, the terminations of the drains are large, square in shape.
The Aurus Komendant has an interior worthy of a head of state
Passengers sitting in such a vehicle will be greeted by exclusive materials and large screens. Nappa leather, wood and metallic accents are inevitable. Classic luxury is combined with technology, so we will discover a digital dashboard, a widescreen infotainment system and an analog clock. Buyers will also find a four-zone climate control system, ambient lighting, heated and cooled cup holders, and wireless smartphone chargers.
The rear seats are worthy of such a luxurious vehicle. There are two armchairs, they are heated, ventilated and have a massage function. The two individual seats are separated by a center console which also includes a refrigerator. So that passengers don’t get bored, there is a big screen for each one.

The car is powered by a hybrid propulsion system. The heat engine is a 4.4-liter V8, supercharged with two turbines. In total, the hybrid system generates 598 horsepower and 880 Nm of torque. The SUV reaches one hundred kilometers in 6.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 220 km / h, despite the enormous mass of 3,235 kilograms.
