The Audi TT says goodbye with a special final edition

The round Audi TT coupe first appeared as a concept in 1995, and three years later production began. This means that this year he celebrates 25 years on the market – and this year will also be his last.

The automaker started the anniversary celebrations last year, with the Iconic edition for the top five-cylinder TT RS model. Now comes another limited edition, this time dedicated to the end of production – TT Final Edition. It was revealed by the British division of Audi in a press release.

It is distinguished from the “regular” TTS by black exterior details, such as logos, inscriptions, mirror covers and a rear spoiler. The roadster version, which is also to be had in this edition, offers black protective arches and a diffuser.

The interior will offer plenty of red details including seat stitching and a unique steering wheel, which also has a partially alcantara-covered crown, plus a center badge at the top.

The standard equipment is an extended leather package, which includes, for example, armrests in this natural material. Likewise, there is the Technology package, which adds online navigation with data such as traffic density and fuel prices.

The Final Edition will be available in Britain for both the coupe and roadster in the 40 TFSI, i.e. 197bhp inline four-cylinder engine, the 45TFSI, i.e. the same engine with 245bhp, and for the TTS version, which also offers a 320bhp four-cylinder. The price starts at 41,910 pounds (1.1 million crowns) for the coupe and 43,660 pounds (1.16 million crowns) for the roadster.

It is not yet clear whether the car will be available outside Great Britain. However, the official photos show the car as left-hand drive, so it is possible that it will be available for purchase in continental Europe at least; we already know it won’t be available in the US. More information will hopefully be available in March, when the British division of Audi opens the order books.
