In Kiev, attackers tried to hide the mummified body of a deceased pensioner in order to take possession of his home. About it informs the prosecutor’s office of Kiev on Thursday, July 15.
“The legal owner of the apartment was a resident of Kiev born in 1932, who died under unclear circumstances in his apartment and whose mummified body was there for a long time,” the message says.
The intruders found the body of the grandfather in the apartment, but did not report his death, but developed a criminal plan.
“Having made a real estate deal, the attackers decided to get rid of the body by secretly moving from the apartment to the crematorium for incineration. For this, the group members planned to use a fake death certificate, according to which the person in question died allegedly on July 4, 2021,” the prosecutor’s office added.
All this time, the body of the pensioner was in the apartment. The attackers found persons who, for a thousand dollars, agreed to secretly transport the body in a special bag to the crematorium by car at night.
Law enforcement officers detained the organizer of the group and one of its members after transferring funds to the performer for the removal of the body. Now they are preparing a report of suspicion and deciding on the choice of a preventive measure.
We will remind that earlier near Kiev “nuns” stole thousands of dollars from a pensioner… The scammers convinced the grandmother that damage was imposed on her, and therefore offered to help for a monetary reward.
It was also reported that the scammer lured away the jewels of the parents from the children… The woman overheard the names of the children on the playgrounds and, knowing them, rubbed into the confidence of the kids.
