Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said the group’s attack on Israel to avenge the killing of Fuad Shukra in Beirut last month was delayed to allow for ceasefire talks in Gaza. “They (the Americans) started saying there will be a break and we have to wait. And that’s why we stayed. We didn’t tell anyone that we would stay, but we actually did it to make room for these conversations. The main goal is to stop the attack in Gaza,” he said in a video speech in Lebanon.
