The attack in which the ‘influencer’ Vielka Pulido died in Puebla was directed at her partner, Joel Abraham

The influencer Vielka Pulido, 22, and her boyfriend were murdered this Wednesday morning when they were leaving a gym in Puebla, in the Santa Cruz Buenavista neighborhood. The couple was about to get into their vehicle when someone opened fire from a gray car that advanced down the road until it was at their level, as recorded on public cameras in the area. The Attorney General’s Office of that State has reported that the investigation has revealed that the attack was directed at Joel Abraham, the content creator’s partner, who died on the asphalt with several gunshot wounds.

As seen in the recording itself, the car that attacked them stops and a man gets out to shoot at them again. One was inside the vehicle, the other, still on the street, fell on the road. 20 bullets of 9 and 6 millimeters were scattered on the ground. To date, it is unknown who the perpetrators were and what the cause of the crime was. The Prosecutor’s Office has specified that efforts are directed at identifying those responsible and the way in which the attack was committed. They are also tracing the escape route of the aggressors “to hide and evade authority.” At the moment, the crime scene outside the gym has been processed and an autopsy has been performed on the bodies.

The Secretary of the Interior of Puebla, Javier Aquino Limón, does not rule out settling scores against Abraham, as he has declared to local media. “Apparently there are some paths that lead to other types of repercussions, however, we are going to be attentive and we are going to be linked,” added the secretary.

Pulido, who appears on her social networks with the nickname La bendi, promoted products related to perfumery and hair care, as can be seen in her virtual profile. However, her popularity dates back to a 2018 viral video after which she was dubbed #LadyHumilladora. In it, he forced a girl to kneel and apologize for having spoken badly about her and her mother. He also forced her to claim that what she had supposedly said about them was false. After the news of the murder became known, the networks have been filled with comments that made light of the crime and that give an example of the controversy that surrounded the influencer.
