Area for Uber and Cabify

The Atocha car park will also be equipped with chargers for electric cars.

Likewise, the Atocha car parks will have a specific space for platform vehicles such as Uber and Cabify to pick up or drop off passengers, and another for shared transport: bicycles, scooters and motorcycles.

In addition, the parking lot of this historic station will have a so-called ‘kiss and train’, that is, a space for private vehicles to stop for fifteen minutes, just to drop off or pick up travelers.

The Atocha station addresses this reorganization of the car parks coinciding with the expansion works and the plan to promote its commercial space in order to prepare it for the increase in passengers that will generate the arrival in December of the new operators that will compete with Renfe in the bird.
