Found dead at 27, shot dead, Atlanta rapper Lil Marlo unfortunately enters the famous “club of 27”…
The information fell on the networks on the night of Saturday 11 to Sunday 12 July. The rapper from Atlanta, Rudolph Johnson dit Lil Marlo was found dead in his car, shot dead on a highway, while sources mention the fact that he was the victim of an attempted theft. Very little is known at the moment about the circumstances of the drama, but Marlo leaves behind 2 young boys, when he had already lost his daughter, Kimora, in 2017. A disappearance, again in violence, which has triggered many reactions on Twitter although Lil Baby, whom he was very close to, has yet to respond.
Another Atlanta rapper, Lil Yachty, shared the news by recalling that they had just recorded a title together last night. Lil Marlo thus enters the “club” of artists who died at the age of 27, and he also inscribes his blase on the long list of rappers who died by bullets (Kiing Shooter, Nick Blixky, KJ Balla, Houdini…) since the beginning of the year in the United States or Canada.

A promising career
Lil Marlo grew up in the Bowen Home neighborhood of west Atlanta. Signed on the Quality Control label, with which he was very close to the boss, Pee, Marlo evolved in the footsteps of his friend Lil Baby, and Gunna who were real references for him.
